Aamir & Sheena - 28th October 2008 / Quendon Hall - Parklands

"A million thank you's to Asian Wedding Cakes for the best cake my guests had ever seen or tasted! Your professionalism, help and willingness to create the cake of my dreams was more than I expected and is greatly appreciated by us both. THANK YOU".  Aamir & Sheena.

The Wedding

Sheena and Aamir's wedding took place on 28th October 2008 at Quendon Hall in Parklands. The wedding ceremony took place in the grand marquee. It was an evening reception and Sheena wanted a cake to match the theme of the venue and her wedding dress.

Sheena and Aamir had chosen a cake design from our portfolio and altered it to suit their color scheme. Sheena was wearing a wedding dress comprised of a mix of oranges and pinks with antique gold work and real swarovski crystals. Her groom's suit was burnt orange and cream with gold embroidery and a matching shawl. The marquee was draped with sumptuous cream lining, with matching covered tables and a fuchsia bow adorning each chair. The table centre-pieces were an arrangement of stunning pink, orange and green foliage.

The couple wanted similar colors within their cake, Asian wedding cakes recommended they opt for a gold ribbon on each of the 5 cakes, embellished with gold diamantes on the icing to add a touch of class. Sheena and Aamir wanted dark peach and pink roses and chose to have them in a stylish circular pattern with a pink lily in the middle of each cake. The cake on the day looked absolutely amazing, it matched the theme of the venue and perfectly complimented the outfits of the bride and groom. It provided a beautiful centre display in the marquee and the wedding looked vibrant, colorful and truly special.

Asian Wedding cakes would like to thank Sheena and Aamir for using Asian wedding cakes and would like to express their gratitude to the couple for providing them with pictures and comments on their wedding cakes.

Asian wedding cakes wishes them the best of luck for the future!

Anhar & Rima - 28th October 2007 / Decorium - Wood Green

"I would like to say Asian Wedding cakes has given me a great service and I personally recommend it to everyone. The cake was so well designed and very tasty and looked the top the layout of the cake was excellent. Keep up the good service. We always get our cakes from Asian Wedding cakes" . Thank you.  Anhar & Rima

The Wedding

Anhar and Rima's wedding took place on 28th October 2007 at The Decorium in Wood Green. Anhar, the groom was keen to use Asian Wedding Cakes as his brother had previously booked a wedding cake with Asian Wedding Cakes and the family had been very happy with the service.

Anhar and Rima were given a selection of sponges to taste during their consultation and shown a variety of wedding cake designs. The bride Rima was to wear a deep red bridal lengha on her wedding therefore they decided to go for a cake with fresh deep red roses. The couple opted for a 4tier medium stacked white chocolate cake with vanilla sponge, buttercream and jam filling. The cake was to be decorated with deep red roses in between the tiers.
The cake was dramatically decorated with fresh grand prix roses and the height of the cake provided the perfect centerpiece for the wedding. The flowers matched perfectly with Rima's deep red outfit and Anhar's shawl on his sherwani.

We would like to thank Anhar and Rima for using Asian Wedding Cakes and wish them all the best for the future.

Asian wedding cakes wishes them the best of luck for the future!

Oscar & Lai - 3rd September 2007 / The Phoenix, Baker St

"Conscientious of choosing the right cake that would cater for our guests who have very different tastes when it comes to cake preferences was a task that filled us with interpretation. However on meeting with you Asim you understood our requirements instantly. You were able to assist us in choosing an excellent looking and appetizing cake that we and our guests could not get enough of. On the day your professionalism, time keeping and cake display was perfect". Thank you. Oscar & Lai

The Wedding

Oscar and Lai's wedding reception took place on 3rd September 2007 at The Pheonix Restaurant in the heart of London's Baker Street. The theme of the restaurant is Chinese.

Oscar and Lai came to us looking for a wedding cake which would be the centerpiece of the wedding and wanted it to be both stunning and excellent in taste. When they attended their consultation for the wedding cake, they were given the opportunity to taste various sponges and flavors and also look at hundreds of designs. Lai the bride knew she loved pink roses and her wedding cake would have to consist of fresh pink roses. Her bridesmaids and her flowers on the day would be pink. After looking at various designs Oscar and Lai selected a chocolate swirl cake filled with sponge cream and jam. The opted for fresh pink roses to go between the cake and a pink ribbon on the cake board. Oscar and Lai wanted the cake to be tall so they opted for a medium 4 tier cake.

As you can see from the pictures the cake looked stunning due to its height and symmetrical design. Asian Wedding cakes would like to thank Oscar & Lai for using Asian wedding cakes and would like to express their gratitude to the couple for providing them with pictures and comments on their wedding cakes.

Asian wedding cakes wishes them the best of luck for the future!

Rekha & Amit - 1st September 2007 / Radisson Edwardian - Bath Road Commonwealth Suite

"We looked at many wedding cake websites before our wedding, but it was Asian Wedding Cakes who had the widest range of styles to chose from. We were impressed with the efficient manner our order was handled during the booking process and with the advice we got regarding size/style and size of cake. On the day, our cake provided a stunning centre piece to the hall, and we received many comments about how good it both looked and tasted!" Many thanks. Rekha and Amit Datta

The Wedding

Rekha & Amit's wedding took place on 1st September 2007 at the lavish Radisson Edwardian Hotel - Bath road in the Commonwealth Suite. The wedding was hosted by Madhu's. Rekha had already chosen her wedding cake when she made enquiries with us. She liked a particular design and wanted to add some features to it to suit her theme and design.

She liked a silver inspire cake which was a three tier cake covered in white roses with silver lining. Rekha wanted a cake which was with burgundy and silver roses. She changed the size of her cake to a 5 tier and wanted to have 3 tiers with silver roses and 2 tiers with burgundy roses. Rekha wanted her cake to look very tall so we placed pillars between the cake to give it increased height. To finish the cake off the table was covered in deep red and white petals with silver and deep red hearts with the bride and groom names. The table was covered in silver glitter. The cake looked amazing, it looked very tall and had a wow factor as soon as you walked in the hall.

Asian wedding cakes would like to thank Rekha & Amit for using us to their wedding cake and we are very grateful for the couple for providing us with feedback and some excellent pictures to use in this feature, we wish them the best of luck in the future and hope they have many more happy years to come.

Selena and Aminur - 5th August 2007 / Millennium Gloucester Hotel, Kensington.

The service provided by Asian Weddings Cakes was excellent - everything was taken care off as promised and we had complete peace of mind before and on our big day. The cake was beautiful in appearance and absolutely delicious in taste. We received countless compliments from our guests about the cake and will definitely recommend your company in the future. Many Thanks. Selena & Aminura

The Wedding

Selena and Aminur's wedding took place on 5th August 2008 at the Millennium Gloucester hotel in south Kensington. The wedding was hosted Laguna Banqueting. Her wedding took place the suite called conservatory at the hotel. The conservatory is at the top floor of the hotel and is surrounded by windows all the way round with a clear glass rooftop. The interior of the suite is decorated with palm trees and other green plants. It looks spectacular.

Selena and Aminur wanted a cake which would match the theme. The venue was all white with green so the cake had to reflect the theme of the venue. Selena on the day was wearing a traditional white dress and Aminur a traditional black suite. The flower centre pieces were all white flowers.
Selena and Aminur opted for a cake in pure white with white calla lilies around the cake. The inside of the calla lily to be in a yellow/golden color and green leaves off each calla lily to match the theme of the venue. The table was going to be decorated with gold hearts with white petals sprinkled around the table.  As you can see from the pictures the cake looked amazing and it fitted in with the theme of the venue and the colors of the dresses of the bride and groom. The pictures speak for it self.

Asian Wedding cakes would like to thank Selena and Aminur for using Asian wedding cakes and would like to express their gratitude to the couple for providing them with pictures and comments on their wedding cakes.

Rizwana & Omar - 14th July 2007 / The Great Room - Grosvenor House Hotel Park Lane

I am very grateful for Asian Wedding Cakes for providing me with a professional service from start to finish, the cake and the display was even better than I had anticipated it to be. Due to the size of the venue, I wanted the cake to be as 'grand' as the hall. I wanted the cake to stand out and be a feature on the stage. Therefore I went for a huge cake which consisted of a central 5 tier cake and two 3 tier cakes either side all connected up with a bridge of roses, which were a very unusual orange/pink color. I also needed such a large cake to feed our 1000 guests!!
I opted for the filling of each of the three tiers to be different. The five tier in the middle to be vanilla sponge with butter cream and jam and the three tier to be chocolate sponge with chocolate butter cream with the other three tier to be a mixture of chocolate and vanilla sponge with butter cream and jam. To finish it off I really appreciated the heart shaped icing Asian Wedding Cakes provided with our names on it. It bought everything together and made the cake display look even prettier. All our guests loved the cake, everybody was full of compliments and a lot of people actually came up on to the stage to see if it was real they could not believe how beautiful it was. Thank you. Omar & Rizwana

The Wedding

Rizwana and umar’s wedding took place on 14 July 2008 at the prestige Grovesnor house hotel – Park Lane in the grand great room. The wedding was hosted by Madhu’s. Rizwana came to see us with a cake in mind. She had chosen her colors and wanted a grand cake for a grand wedding.

Riawana wanted a cake to feed over a 1000 people. She wanted a 5 tier cake with two three tier cakes on either side, totaling 11 tiers of cake in total! The cakes had to be filled with fresh roses and Rizwana had a specific color in mind. Rizwana wanted a cake which was different and not common. She opted for a 11 tier cake with a 5 tier in the middle filled with roses, 3 tiers on either side and two rose bridges connecting the cakes.

Rizwana wanted her cake to match the theme of her wedding. Her table center pieces with extra large vases filled with water and a grand display of flowers which consisted of peach and white roses. The stage had 4 large pillars with flowers at the bottom and the top of the pillars, The flowers were the same as the centre pieces which were with peach and white roses. The cake had to match that theme.
Rizwana wanted her cake to be grand and glow. The cake was to be set on the stage. Asian wedding cakes recommended a 15 tier cake to cater for 1000 guests, which consisted of 11 tiers on display and 4 tiers straight to the kitchen. Asian wedding cakes recommended the cake to be lined with gold diamantes all around the cake, which would glow with the lights being dimmed. We also recommended Rizwana to go for the peach cherry rose, as it comes out larger then other types of roses. The cake was filled with different sponges and had roses between each layer all the way around. There were two rose bridges which connected the cakes. The table was covered in engraved hearts with petals and gold glitter. Candles were placed either side of the cakes and in front. All in all the cake and the rose bridges took over 500 roses. The cake was a grand display for a grand wedding.

Asian wedding cakes would like to thank Rizwana and Umar for using us to their wedding cake and we are very grateful for the couple for providing us with feedback and some excellent pictures to use in this feature, we wish them the best of luck in the future and hope they have many more happy years to come.

Leanne & Kamal

“Dear Asim, Would like to thank you for the great looking and tasting cake that you have supplied for our wedding. It was the biggest talking point of the night”. With Regards. Leanne & Kamal

The wedding

Leanne & Kamal`s wedding took place on the 30th April 2006, they had an evening reception and were looking for a wedding cake to match the brides outfit and the wedding theme on the day. Leanne was going to wear a traditional dress in cream and gold and the theme of the wedding was cream and gold.

After browsing through our designs Leanne & Kamal liked two of our cakes but wanted a mixture of the two cakes incorporated in their cake. They wanted a 5 tier in a circular shape. As Leanne was wearing a cream and gold dress the colours on the cake had to be the same.

After considering Leanne & Kamal’s requirements Asian Wedding cakes recommended a 5 tier acrylic stand to create a circular effect. Leanne & Kamal had selected a 5 tier round cake, the cake to be covered in white chocolate cigarillos and the top of each cake covered in a Florentine effect with cream roses embedded within the effect. The tubes to be filled with petals and the table to be decorated with gold plaques with Leanne & Kamal name and sprinkled with cream petals.

Leanne & Kamal were creative and complied an excellent wedding cake. The style and colours of the wedding cake matched the Leanne’s Outfit and their wedding theme. The cake looked amazing on the day. Asian Wedding cakes would like to thank Leanne & Kamal for using Asian wedding cakes and would like to express their gratitude to the couple for providing them with pictures and comments on their wedding cakes.

Afshah & Abbas

“We are writing to say thanks for providing such a wonderful wedding cake for our wedding day. The cake looked beautiful and the taste was amazing. All of our guests commented on how good the cake tasted. The service you provided from start to finish was first class". With Regards. Afshah & Abbas

The wedding

Afshah & Abbas`s wedding took place on the 30th June 2006, They had an evening wedding and were interested in a wedding cake which will make their evening glow. Their colour theme was deep red which matched the brides outfit and the colour of the venue. Both Afshah and Abbas were interested in a cake which would have the “wow factor” as soon as you walk into the venue.

Asian wedding cakes recommended a chocolate wedding cake with deep red roses and green ivy. The colour of the roses would match the theme and the brides outfit. To make the wedding cake glow Asian Wedding cakes recommended using a water fountain in the middle of the cake with candles flowing around it.

Afshah & Abbas opted for an 8 tier extravaganza. The cake was big enough to serve 500 people. They selected the cake to be filled with vanilla sponge with fresh cream and jam, filled with fresh strawberries and covered with white chocolate cigarillos around the cake.

Asian wedding cakes created a circular arch with the 8 tier cake and placed a water fountain in the middle. The cakes were decorated with deep red grand prix roses with green ivy in between the roses. The colour of the water was changed to red to match the theme and venue. Hearts with the bride and groom’s name were placed around the table which was topped with fresh flower petals around the table. The caked looked stunning. The pictures do not do justice to the way the cake looked on the day.

Asian Wedding cakes would like to thank Afshah & Abbas for using Asian wedding cakes and would like to express their gratitude to the couple for providing them with pictures and comments on their wedding cakes.
